As well as a POS solution, SpringBoard has some in-depth features for customer management. View ‘at a glance’ statistics about each customer and their preferences and purchase history. Make intelligent recommendations based on that knowledge and drive sales higher as well as increasing customer loyalty.

SpringBoard Retail is developer friendly. You can customize your app and browser to decide exactly what you want your items and customers to look like.

Ease of Use:

SpringBoard Retail is known for its ease of use. Even employees with little or no technical skills or retail experience should be able to pick up the basics in a matter of minutes, and need minimal training to master use of the back office and front end register tools.

Customer Support:

There are multiple customer support options such as a thorough knowledgebase filled with articles, step by step tutorials and video support. You can also submit a request through the ‘contact us’ form complete with attachments, such as, if you need to share a screenshot of an issue. Customers signed up to the lower level price plan will receive email based support, while the mid-range plan opens up phone support. If you opt for the Enterprise subscription you will also have access to live chat.

Pricing and Payment Processing:

Depending on your business size and the features you need access to, you can choose between 3 packages. The Standard plan costs $79 per month per station, and allows for unlimited users, items and customers as well as a powerful back office. You can enter 10 custom fields and have access to the online knowledgebase. The Professional plan is $119 per month, and includes everything in the Standard plan plus unlimited custom fields, phone support, custom payment types and your own staging or training environment for developers. Integration with QuickBooks is included free of charge. Enterprise is the most in-depth POS solution, and costs $179 per month. You will have extended phone support, live chat access to POS experts, as well as custom branding and a custom ‘on boarding and configuration’ package of up to 10 hours.
SpringBoard Retail integrates with Heartland and Vantiv for seamless payment processing.

Contract Terms: ‚Äč

The above prices are for an annual contract with SpringBoard Retail. If you would like to use the POS on a month to month basis, you can take away the commitment of the contract but your month to month cost will be around $20 higher. Remember that whichever payment processor you opt for may have their own terms and conditions. SpringBoard Retail offers hardware bundles which come with everything you need, including a manufacturer’s warranty. These start at around $900.

Bottom Line:

SpringBoard Retail is a great retail Point of Sale solution, especially for those with more than one store. We love their features such as the ability to move product inventory between stores from the dashboard. Having three subscription choices makes them perfect for any size business. They are a powerful and well respected cloud-based POS.
